Bad Doberan spa resort

The Bad Doberan health resort entices visitors with plenty of fresh air, a hilly and wooded landscape, and the Baltic Sea 6 km away.

The first seaside resort in Germany, Heiligendamm, is a well-known district of the health resort of Bad Doberan. Bad Doberan is traditionally a renowned health resort, with modern spas. Stroll through Bad Doberan like the Grand Dukes once did or visit the town and spa museum. Many classical buildings, squares, and wonderful parks are monuments of bygone times. Visit the town and spa museum and enjoy the varied events. The »Pearl of North German brick Gothic«, the Doberan Minster, is on its way to becoming a Unesco World Heritage Site and is well worth at least one visit. A trip to the steam-powered historical monument on wheels, the Bäderbahn »Molli« train is a special highlight.
