Bansin seaside resort

»Small but superb« is the slogan of this seaside resort founded in 1897. This seaside resort, one of the youngest on the Baltic coast, is the only one of the »three Imperial spas« that did not originate as a fishing village.

Bansin Gallery

Bansin was the first German seaside resort to receive the »open-air bathing permit« in 1923. Since then, mobile beach cabins have adorned the Bansin promenade, reminiscent of the bathing culture of the early 20th century. Behind them, the spa architecture-style villas are a testimony to the architectural building culture of yesteryear. The collection of buildings is uniquely arranged so that even those in the second row offer views of the sea.
