Baltic Sea Clinic Poel

The baltic clinic poel is a mother/father/child facility for prevention and rehabilitation on the island of Poel.

Many mothers and fathers are finding it increasingly difficult to cope with all the demands and expectations of family and professional life, particularly due to the increased multiple stresses of everyday life. The consequences are often physical and mental complaints that can become chronic.

A mother / father-child programme at the Ostseeklinik Poel can help in such a situation by providing peace and quiet, a short-term escape from everyday life, coupled with individual therapeutic measures, to better withstand stress in the future and improve personal health in the long term.

Every day, our guests can choose between a vegetarian and a meat-based menu. One of these two menus is prepared according to the principles of the Mediterranean diet. Due to the seasonal processing of the predominantly regional fruit and vegetables on offer, we refer to this as a modified Mediterranean diet.

When purchasing fresh food and cereal products, care is taken to ensure that they come from controlled, integrated cultivation. The use of high-quality oils and the avoidance of low-quality fats containing trans fats are of the utmost importance in our preparations. The fatty acid pattern of our dishes is optimised as much as possible through the use of high-quality olive oil and rapeseed oil.

In our in-house bakery, various rolls and breads are baked every day according to traditional craftsmanship. The use of high-quality flours and oils is also a priority here.

Experienced diet cooks and dieticians prepare the reduced diet and all medically prescribed diets. Individual allergy diets and disease-specific diets are prepared with the utmost care and expertise. Our nutrition team and the kitchen manager will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the food on offer or any preparations.
