World Book Day: Opening of the exhibition "Reading is stupid"

The Ribnitz-Damgarten City Library invites you to the exhibition opening on World Book Day, Tuesday, 23.04.2024, at 10.00 a.m. in the Ribnitz Library with the provocative title "Reading is stupid". The picture book exhibition on the picture book of the same name by Nils Freytag and Silke Schlichtmann shows 15 artistic interactions with prejudice, cheekily and subtly illustrated by well-known children's book authors and illustrators, including sayings and drawings by Maja Bohn, Ute Krause, Paul Maar, Cornelia Funke, Ulf K. and other congenial artists. To accompany the exhibition, school classes will work with the drawings and explore why reading is often difficult, but also absolutely worthwhile.

An event organized by the Ribnitz-Damgarten City Library in cooperation with Hanser-Verlag. Participation is free of charge.
