The year-round collection exhibition demonstrates the diversity of artistic creation in Ahrenshoop and the neighboring island world. At the same time, it impressively conveys a sophisticated panorama of nationally relevant art-historical positions from Germany's eventful recent past.
The Ahrenshoop Art Museum has more than 1,000 paintings, prints and sculptures by artists who lived, worked or visited Ahrenshoop or the nearby coastal region.
From March 21 to May 17, 2026, the collection exhibition in Room IV is thematically dedicated to the desire for the outdoors - man and landscape in modern works.
