Fittingly, the Hans Christian Andersen Year 2025 is all about "fairy tales and the sea". Well-known and exciting stories will be staged in classic form or reimagined and brought to the stage with a lot of love.
But local, maritime themes will also find their place again. In addition to the revival of the highly acclaimed homage to Binz visionary and master builder Ulrich Müther, the "Binzer Ge(h)schichten" (Binz Stories) is a musical drama tour that tells the history and stories of the seaside resort through the ages in an exciting and entertaining way.

In this fast-paced comedy with wit, music and a good dose of self-irony, the princess returns to the stage and does away with the rose-tinted kitsch. The Brothers Grimm? They left a few things out. But don't worry: Sleeping Beauty now makes up for it all - charming, sharp-tongued and without kid gloves.
