Fittingly, the Hans Christian Andersen Year 2025 is all about "fairy tales and the sea". Well-known and exciting stories will be staged in classic form or reimagined and brought to the stage with a lot of love.
But local, maritime themes will also find their place again. In addition to the revival of the highly acclaimed homage to Binz visionary and master builder Ulrich Müther, "Binzer Ge(h)schichten" is a musical drama tour that tells the history and stories of the seaside resort through the ages in an exciting and entertaining way.

Curtain up for the living music box: a large box, a key, the lid lifts and the theater begins! The programs are like fireworks, the music box like a magic box. New characters keep opening the lid with instruments such as violin, accordion, ukulele, flute or singing saw. Sometimes reciting, juggling, sometimes singing or dancing. Always present: the little king from the flap - presenter, popular figure and singer.
This program is entirely dedicated to the theme of love from the perspective of various characters: from the sad little fish to Carmen, everyone has their say. A journey through the genres of chanson, folk song, pop, jazz, Schlager and, of course, opera, with plenty to get your heart racing and lots to laugh about. A cubic meter of good entertainment guaranteed!
