Guided tour of the Papenhof

Discover the Papenhof on an exciting guided tour through the museum. Our guided tours make a visit to the Papenhof a special experience. Together with our guide, take the time to discover the many layers of the house: original building elements from five centuries, ornate half-timbered fragments from 1585 and traces of the Pomeranian Reformation. Step by step, you will learn how the use of the building changed, from a meeting place to an aristocratic residence to a home.
The stories surrounding Duke Bogislaw XIII, who gave the Papenhof to his governor as a gift, and the historical details hidden in the walls, beams and facades are particularly impressive. The tour not only provides an insight into the architecture, but also into the social, political and cultural changes in the region.
