Christiane Budig Welcome, Glasobjekt 2024

Three artistic positions - Franca Bartholomäi, Christiane Budig and Sarah Schuschkleb - who worked at Künstlerhaus Lukas as part of this scholarship program, enter into an open dialogue in the exhibition. Their works move between printmaking, drawing, sculpture, jewelry and object art and negotiate questions of materiality, narration and body reference. The sculpture garden was designed by Anja Spitzer.

With INS KALTE WASSER, the Neues Kunsthaus Ahrenshoop is focusing on a network that has been facilitating artistic mobility and exchange between Saxony-Anhalt and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern for 20 years. The cooperation between Kunststiftung Sachsen-Anhalt and Künstlerhaus Lukas stands for the relevance of residency formats as productive places for temporary encounters, individual artistic processes and supra-regional dialogues.
