New Year's cleaning on the beach

Locals and guests meet up on New Year's morning for a joint clean-up on the beach. The Baltic Sea beach is quickly cleared of New Year's Eve leftovers.

From the meeting point at the Kuse fish smokehouse, we head north along the beach in search of New Year's garbage. Garbage bags and gloves are provided on site.

As a thank you, participants will receive a voucher for a mulled wine or non-alcoholic punch, redeemable on January 1, 2024 in the HEIMAAT Bar & Lounge on the beach promenade.
