Kühlungsborn

The largest Baltic Sea resort in Mecklenburg impresses with its distinctive atmosphere and a 4 km-long promenade, which guarantees unobstructed views of the sea.

It is a place rich in history and tradition, nestled against a wonderful landscape. On one side the magnificent almost 6 km-long sandy beach and on the other side the »smallest low mountain range in Germany«, the »Kühlung« nature reserve. The centre of Kühlungsborn offers a 133-acre urban forest with a well-developed network of trails for hiking, biking, and walking. The spa architecture from the last century, reconstructed with great attention to detail, the Mediterranean port, and the 240 meter-long pier are all well-worth seeing and experiencing.
